Wow. I'd love to criticise that post butdamn, that'd be like poking a paraplegic person with a stick. -

Well, Jamie Hector is a professional actor so I think that's more a dis on him than Snoop. I also think that Pablo Schreiber gave a really bad performance.

Same her, she scares the living jesus out of me, and i'm a big guy.
Marlo also did a great job.
In fact i'd go as far and say there's not a single bad actor on this show.

Yep. I found her much scarier than any of Avon's people. A proper psychopath. Obviously, I don't know her as a real person, but as a character If you encountered someone like that, you should just get away from them as quickly as possible and try to never get around them again. And definitely don't get on their bad side. I knew some kids similar to her when I was growing up. The problem was, just about everything and anything you did would get you on their bad side. They had no boundaries. That's what Snoop is like. You can see it in her eyes. She has no boundaries. She'd kill you in front of the police.
You're just not safe around someone like that.
Same with Marlo. Scary. Completely detached emotionally. That cold flat stare he gives people Like you're nothing but a bug in their eyes. Chilling.

"nobody has ever sounded as dumb as she does in this show"
I'm with you on that, I wanted to choke the living life out of Snoop every time she opened her mouth. Please, please tell me that nobody sounds this retarded in real life.
Throughout season 4 I just wondered why the hell they decided to get rid of all the cool bad guys and replace them with all those unlikeable tards that were the whole Stanfield crew. -

I loved The Wire but couldn't stand this girls character mainly because I couldn't understand her.. also thought she was a guy for a long time. As for Marlo.. never saw him do anything but stand around and give orders.. really looked ridiculous early on wearing those tennis headbands.

Just now binge watching the Wire all these yrs later- I worked with a few Marines from West and East side of Baltimore- white and black hard dudes but stand up always had my 6 covered. Damn good people and while they didn't sound exactly like her as I am guessing she put some flourishes and eccentric spin on the character they did use some of the same isms the used like the way she would get someone's attention not a whistle but some weird noise that I have no idea how to duplicate here like when she first called out to the guy on the corner before asking about Baltimore DJ and thinking he was from NYC.
Anyhow, I have never met anyone exactly like her but she had some local color I remember my buddies having. The way they say Too and a few other words always made us laugh like hell.
Anyhow, all good dudes, grew up in a tough life, they got out of there and they all are doing really well now except Davis who died way too young from pancreatic cancer. Strong brave capable man cut down by his own body.
Not defending gangsters with this next bit I have zero use for thugs who are rarely as hard as they think but when you grow up a certain way around certain things sometimes a path is chosen for you. Its those folks that are strong enough and tough enough to make a better life that I respect the most.
