Like a previous poster said murderers are people too, it's not like they are some pure evil monster. They have feelings just like you. She was convicted of murder and did the time the state told her too, but apparently your Christian moral authority knows better than all of your judges and juries. My opinions about sentences for drug dealers and murderers has little to do with my religious beliefs you moron. In fact Christian groups work hard to help prisoners make parole, there are many advocacy groups created for prisoners BY Christian groups, so you're stupid.
Murderers, that is to say people who have committed heinous crimes SHOULD be locked up for life because obviously they are not fit to live in normal society. Too many rapists and murderers become repeat offenders. Lets see how you feel about sentences for violent criminals when someone in your family is raped and murdered, we'll see how much sympathy you have for them. I will forget I'm a Christian that day just to laugh at your fate.
You're trying to sound like an intellectual by echoing stupid rehashed statements about seperation between Church and state in a conversation where it has ABSOLUTLY no place. At no time did I mention faith you concluded that my ideas come from some religious authority when there is no real modern position on criminal justice and sentencing in any Christian Church. There were a few losses suffered by Spain at the hands of the yellow toothed bandits, but in all Spain remained the great power in the New World and for a long time in Europe. We see this in the fact that most of South America, the Caribbean, and North America was colonized by the Spanish. England was relegated to the 13 original colonies, Oregon, and part of Canada. Spain took all of South America except Brazil, what remained of North America outside of the French areas and all of the Caribbean only losing Jamaica and Cuba for 7 years until its reconquest. Puerto Rico was OFTEN attacked but to no avail as it was a VERY important strategic point in the New World. Cuba AND Puerto Rico were the two big prizes in the Caribbean and the English coveted them greatly.
