A lot of people did which is weird since she is referred to as female many times and was shown in feminine clothing in one scene.

Unless people are deaf or not paying attention then they should have noticed that she was called "girl" and referred to as "she" and "her" constantly. Its not a big deal but it is strange how many people missed that.

i could only really see her as a boy on the wire she doesn't look 29 eitherbut still she was one of the best characters on the wire in my opinion

Initially when she was introduced on the show I was a little unsure, but once I saw her do the driveby on the back of the motorcycle I knew she was a girl.
Snoop's one of the best characters on the wire!

yeah i know she's female, but she really does look and sounds like a 12 year old boy, even down to the beep smug attitude.
