They really want her as a witness in a 2005 murder. She saw some guy stab another guy to death, but she told the police she didn't want to be involved. They came to her house with what they call a "body attachment warrant" to force her to appear in court. When they entered her house, they found the drugs.
It was a small amount of 2000drugs. I think they're only holding her so they can make her testify in the murder case. Still, it's another hard knock for someone who says she's trying to turn her life around.
I hope she can keep getting acting roles now that The Wire is over. -

More evidence that she really is playing a character thats just a slightly exaggerated version of herself.
Sucks though. She really seems to be fighting the current to get where she has gotten. Would be a shame to have her end alllll the way back at square one again. -

she screwed her life up by being a thug, not learning english and embodying a persona of her real life in a popular TV series. I would never hire her, and find her about the most irritating person i've ever seen on the TV. She\he almost ruined the whole Wire for me and its why im here bitching. Learn to speak like you are not a 13 year old corner boy.

Wow she was caught with weed. So many people smoke weed nowadays it's pretty ridiculous. However I dont think she really deserved to get so much recognition in such short time. I hope she doesnt take advantage of it. She was pretty cool when I met her. Humble and no showing off at all. However, you never know.

I can't stand the way he talks in season 5 now and it's becoming a serious issue I endorse everything by the previous poster x 1000
And yeah, weed's around, but like anything else, you witness a murder and refuse to testify, you're gonna get the screws put to you. let the thing deal with it. -

What I want to knowis why do you even care?!
Seems to me like you really focused a lot on her character and what she brought to the series!
I would think that all she's been through in her life, was gris for the mill
in the portrayal of her role.
Andby the wayit's a dam good thing you are not the be all and end all
of hiring producers!
