on the GoT board on imdb there was a poster who claimed The Exorcist was a comedy movie, a comedy horror movie at best but not of the unvoluntarily funny kind. he claimed these excorcism scenes were written intentionally as a comedy. (his username was FurtureKings). would you agree with him?

I've been finding it funny for a while, but it scared the **** out of me asa kid.
The creator of Texas Chainsaw Massacre said it was meant to be a dark comedy. The only part that felt like comedy was rhe silly stuff with the grandpa.
