Something Is Seriously Wrong With This Woman

I had not heard that. However, if you have a link, I am more than willing to read it.
Thing is, a lot of people did not like her performance and even members of the Von Trapps were not happy with the choice of Underwood. There is no excuse for death threats and those peoples should be investigate. However, Underwood is being a bit thin skinned with the Jesus comments. Not everyone will like everything you do. The sooner she accepts it..

She obviously tweeted that to people who threatened her life. Not the people who criticized her. I'm sure she is use to that treatment. All mainstream people get criticized. People are being thin skinned about her Jesus comment.

Problem is, that's NOT "obvious". Until now, I, for one, didn't even know of anything as severe as death threats. Of course, the net is so crazy, there's always a loon or two out there taking things to an extreme. Not that we should ignore them, but it doesn't reflect on the critics as a whole.
If she were aiming her comments at specific vile comments, she should have mentioned that her comments were aimed at "particularly nasty comments" or something.

I dont think she should have to be so specific. She said nothing about critics or The Sound of Music. Carrie has been criticized way before Sound of Music. She has never said much of anything, if anything at all about it. Why would she start now? The death threats started when the official commercial was on TV. Carrie has even said that being criticized pushes her to do better. She has progressed in certain areas over the years from constructive criticism. I think she has beautiful vocals, which is why I never thought I'd say this, but her sining have improved in certain ways ever since her training for Sound of Music. Thats only something a fan would notice
Her prayer was her way of wanting to help(in her way) and forgive them. -

I am not sure how obvious it was. Granted, I do not read her Twitter but from what I read on here there was no indication who it was specifically aimed at other than those who did not like her performance.

Rather, maybe she is being thin skinned and using "Jesus" to cover that. To me, it was an odd gambit to drag religion into it. Seems like a cover to me.

I can't see where she's being judgemental. Everyone will not like everything she does but they don't have to react nastily and criticize her about it. Criticizing is judging someone. She is simply saying she'll pray for them. That's not judging, it offering what she will do for people who are judging and critizing her and some who are sending death threats. Clearly there is something wrong with you if you are sending threats or you are cruelly and angrily criticizing someone over a tv show. Seems to me you can offer your opinion constructively without attacking the person and their "talent"

Agreed.
But she wouldn't be put in this position if she didn't constantly try to pull off feats that her talent level isn't up to. She butchered the Linda Ronstadt tribute at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony. She was off key for half the time.
I find her to be a somewhat marginal talent, and she gets by on her stunning good looks, and her 'story'. I can see why people hate on her, but making threats is insane. I'd pray for those folks as well.

Well, an Okie might know as much about incest as an Arkie would. And Underwood there is an Okie no matter how much she tries to hide it.
