Resemblance to Christina Ricci.

Got meds? You certainly need them after THAT rant!
To rebut your insane rant, actually I was originally a fan of Rachael WAY back when she had the show where she went traveling on a budget, and very few people knew who she was. She wasn't anything special, but the show did have her going to interesting places and she did go to "off the beaten path" locations.
Even back then though, it was amazing to see how cheap she was - she clearly wasn't tipping based on the cost breakdowns she gave - and although I think tips are far too expected in the US (you earn the "normal" tip with at least decent service IMO, and get above that with exceptional service, but it's not automatic if you give terrible service) her math often showed that she wasn't giving any at all - and in many of the places she went to, it is expected for good service. Which basically means that if you went to those same places, you'd have to spend more than she did, because you would indeed be expected to cough one up.
She did use her arms a decent amount when she spoke, but it hadn't developed into the "windmills flapping about" sort of extreme use that she developed in later years.
Then her name became more widely known, she got her cooking show, and a giant ego. She started calling olive oil as "EVOO", would pop out babytalk like "yummo" and "delish".
In short, she became extremely annoying.
On top of it all, it's very obvious that her cooking skills are far from Cordon Bleu or CIA standards. She made it onto a few of those contest shows like Iron Chef, but what she made was never all that complicated (or inspired).
No, I don't have some "I am the center of the universe" perspective, nor would anything in that post imply that I did I'm simply somebody with very acute powers of observation who started out liking her, and ended up being rather annoyed by what a kitschy, vile person she became once she found more fame. -

Yes, I agree. Like others, I did a double-take when I first saw her in this role in 'The Snowmen'. Not only in appearance, but also, that sassy attitude that I've always found such an appealing Christina characteristic.
Ricci would have made a great Dr Who companion ealier on in her career! -

I saw a short interview with her somewhere recently, and she was asked if there were any celebrities she had been physically compared to in the past. A strange question, I thought, but her answer was "Oh yeah, I've been compared to Christina Ricci for years".

I didn't put the connection together until the episode I watched last night, but it had definitely been driving me crazy. Then it hit me, and when I said it out light that she looked a lot like she could be Christina Ricci's sister or something, my wife said "That's who she reminds me of! Thank you, it was driving me crazy!".
Jenna-Louise is just a tad cuter though. No offense to Christina, who is quite cute as well.

I was just watching Jenna in this youtube video
"Doctor Who: Matt Smith and Jenna Louise-Coleman's love letter to fans!" and she reminded me strongly of Nina Dobrev from The Vampire Diaries in both looks and manner. She strikes a pose and I immediately thought of Nina Dobrev. -
