Have you seen this? Guillermo Del Toro talking passionately about "Crimson Peak", he says it's probably the film he's most proud of.

This interview had me even more excited. I'm too lazy to search the tweets now, but I believe some footage was shown at Comic-con and that it was well received. I can't imagine they'd be difficult to find if you were inclined to look for yourself.

You've probably already seen this, some newly released pics of Mia and Tom Hiddelston from "Crimson Peak" - amazing sets from Guillermo Del Toro.

"I wanted the freedom to tackle a great adult story for a female lead, Del Toro said in an appearance at San Diegos Comic-Con International last year. We have scary ghosts, but I think scarier people".
Crimson Peak arrives in theaters Oct. 16.
Guillermo del Toro has described his new big-screen Gothic romance Crimson Peak as a movie that comes very close to a living painting
So, I wonder when they will announce the Comic Con schedule for this summer, Del Toro said he hopes to bring along the cast of the film.

I see the cast is busy this summer. Tom Hiddleston is filming a series for the BBC. Mia will be filming Brimstone. Charlie Hunnam is playing King Arthur. Jessica Chastain is filming The Huntsman. It might be hard for them to get time off to attend the Con.

I've now seen the film twice - I love it - it's an enchanting hybrid, gorgeous to look at and with superb performances from Mia, Jessica Chastain and Tom Hiddelston. I see it as primarily gothic romance, but also with a mixture of horror and fairy tale; it's food for the imagination. I found myself making a lot of different connections re it's meanings, there's quite a bit underneath it's exquisite surface.

I finally saw it today. Enjoyed it a lot, but will benefit from a second viewing. From what I've heard, though, most theaters are going to pull it after ONE week. Ridiculous.

I'm glad you so enjoyed it - it's a beautiful film. You're right, it does benefit from a second viewing - there'sb68 a lot going on.
