Fluent in Italian?

I was just re-watching the Happy Endings episode where Penny and Alex get drunk at a bar and Penny whips out perfect Italian. I was wondering if anyone new if Casey was fluent in real life? Or is she just really good with imitating accents?

Then she is pretty good at imitating accents. She was way more believable than the supposed "Italians" (who were AWFUL, both in terms of accent and word choice).
