Gay 4 Fugazi — 3 years ago(December 07, 2022 03:07 AM)Am sick of flying 17 hours to Bend, Oregon to rent a movie I could watch for free online! why just keep ONE store open and close literally every other store in the WORLD? Is BB still even a company or is the one store in Bend just sort of a novelty?

I think that one is just for novelty.
Btw my first real job after high school was Blockbuster Music.
People could come in and listen to any new CD they wanted. I was their DJ. We'd open the CDs then repack them when finished and put them back on the shelves.
And yes we rented out movies too.

I don't miss Blockbuster. I miss the days of early childhood when there were multiple mom and pop video stores. That's where you got the weird **** and the mysterious closed off area kids weren't allowed.
That reminds me. There's a sex store in my town run by a Christian woman heavily involved with a church lol.
