Just for your information: the surname Gedmintas is a typical Lithuanian surname and it does not resemble any Latvian surnames. There haven't been, aren't and never will be any Latvians with a surname Gedmintas. Rta or Ruta, however, could be Latvian women's names.
And trust me, I say this as a Latvian. -

She grew up in Stockholm and then Buckinghamshire. Gedmintas is English born to Lithuanian parents on 23 August 1983.

Yep, surname would only sound lithuanian if it was "Gedmintait". Though she's born in England and up there they keep identical surnames for all members of the family so that must be why. First name is very lithuanian though.

No she was born in England so she's English. I think what you mean is does she have Lithuanian heritage.
It's a pet hate of mine when people state where their family originated from111c as opposed to their actual nationality.
