thats so great she is fluent in asl im learning asl and i think that more people who are not deaf need to learn asl so they can be more understanding and respectful in deaf community alot of deaf people are not understood in the world and if people were just more informed they would see that deaf people are no differnt then hearing people and they are NOT stupid or dumb. they are just like everyone. i hope to one day become fluent and help deaf children learn asl who were born to hearing parents. 90% of deaf children are born to hearing parents.

I'm with you-everyone needs to learn it and use it. That way it would be a nice quiet world :). Plus you could follow 2 conversations at once more easily, and "hear" someone at greater distances.
