I agree with the first person. I too am 5'4" and 250 lbs. and eat healthy. I work out everyday after class and I dance. It is not easy to lose weight. I think Nikki is a good role model for young girls. I act in plays at college and sometimes it is not easy to get in front of an audience with a bunch of skinny girls but, I have come to accept myself and think other girls should do the same.I truly feel I am happier that a lot of my friends who are under or at the average weight.

the ideal weight ones in your family probily have very physically active jobs. having an active life style tends to actually make you eat alot of unhealthy food so they are probily eating more starches and fats then your overweight family member for instance people in construction and concrete are very active and in shape yet they tend to eat so alot of eggs alot of steak and alot of high colesteral and all that in there diats take alook at mr universe contestants they work out so much that just to maintain energy they have to eat 3 to 4 thousand callories a day just to maintain themselfs so often the more physically active people eat more

SO "CharmingAss hole" first off I think you should probably change your name because there is nothing charming about you or anything that you have to say. I get where your coming from because Im a smart ass too and I love it! but when there is a topic that you probably know very little about or have not experienced it for yourself you should probably keep your mouth shut. A womans worth goes way beyond the way she looks or what the number on the scale says. A woman is a beautiful cretion, and without a woman and her body you wouldnt even exist! I just continue to be amazed by people who are as ignorant as you. I think that maybe you should step back and do a little but more research before you want to leave a post about "Fat Girls". and you say that she was rationalizing by saying that she is built differently, but how so? I mean if people arent built differently, then please explain to me why it is that men and woman are completely different? If people arent built differently then how is it that one person grows to be 5'5 and another person grows to be 6'2? its because people ARE built differently! And the reason that people get mad at you for "calling it like you see it" is just that reason. You only talk about what you see or what you think you know. So, when you have some actual facts then come back and let us know!
P.S. ROCK ON SEXY LADIES! You are all ABSOLUTELY beautiful! 🙂

"I think you should probably change your name because there is nothing charming about you"
I guarantee you would like me in person, but that's neither here nor there.
"but when there is a topic that you probably know very little about or have not experienced it for yourself you should probably keep your mouth shut."
So, which topic exactly are you referencing? Because you mention things about a "womans worth" and also about the whole fat thing. I know plenty about both.
"A womans worth goes way beyond the way she looks or what the number on the scale says."
This depends completely on context. In what scenarios are you speaking of? Because I'm not sure what words of mine you're responding to with this, but they probably had something to do with how women are generally valued much more for their physical appearance as mates than men are, and that's the reason for this so-called double standard with men and women in regards to their being accepted even though they may be fat.
"A woman is a beautiful cretion, and without a woman and her body you wouldnt even exist!"
What is the point of this ridiculously elementary statement? Without many, many things I wouldn't exist, not the least of which is a very necessary contribution from a man's body.
"I just continue to be amazed by people who are as ignorant as you."
I just continue to be amazed by people who are as idiotic as you. Although at this point, It shouldn't surprise me anymore.
"I think that maybe you should step back and do a little but more research before you want to leave a post about "Fat Girls""
What for? Most researchers agree that the primary causes of obesity are poor diet, lack of exercise and a generally sedentary lifestyle. There are other causes as well that haven't been as wholly agreed upon, with a MINORITY of cases being ascribed to genetic causes or medical conditions.
"and you say that she was rationalizing by saying that she is built differently, but how so?"
She's using it as an excuse. Hardly anyone is built in such a way that alterations of their physique are impossible. Were she to fully commit to losing weight, it would happen. Some people have to try harder than others, obviously, but the odds that she has no control over her weight are so miniscule that I wouldn't believe her were she to claim that.
"I mean if people arent built differently, then please explain to me why it is that men and woman are completely different?"
Rationalization isn't fabrication, moron. I'm not disputing the fact that people clearly come in differnt frames and with different limitations.
"You only talk about what you see or what you think you know."
So, you expect me to speak on topics that I'm not well versed in? Things I don't see or, uh, don't know?
                What2000, are you like 13?
"So, when you have some actual facts then come back and let us know!"
Fact: 2/3 of American adults are either overweight or obese.
Fact: the chief contributers to obesity are excessive caloric consumption and sedentary lifestyle.
Fact: Fast food consumption has steadily increased in the US since the seventies.
Fact: There is a direct correlation between our country's fast food consumption and obesity.
Fact: The US has the highest number of available calories per person in the entire world at >3600.
Fact: If you can't see the origins of the obesity epidemic, you are an idiot.
If you disagree with me and think I'm a total ass_hole, then why are you reading my signature?

"CharmingAss_hole", do you even know how women were created to look and do on this earth? Look that up on your little factoid-list and maybe you'll get it through your head that women were meant to be a lot bigger than the norm here on earth. Otherwise women wouldn't be able to create little douchebags like you (got to have a little meat on your bones to be able to have a baby)!

jenangie fan, you aren't the OP's doctor so you have NO IDEA what her health is. I think it's SO STUPID how everyone thinks they are medical professionals and are able to comment on other peoples health when they have NO idea.

Well the OP probably thinks it's less than perfectly healthy to be 5'4" and 250 lbs. insofar as she's admitted she's exploring what options she has that will help her lose weight.
