yeah I read that too! she could be bi but chooses not to act on it.
They all have to be sexually open minded to be on that show, I think. Their obviously not against the gay community anyways or else they wouldn't be supporting it by being on the L word.
I would love to know how many people in hollywood are in the closet lol
I bet there are loads, I reckon there would be some shocking ones that u would never dream of being gay.

I aint being funny or anythin, I know u get ur typical butch lesbian, no offence to anyone! but I know a few girls who r absolutely stunning n one of them is gettin married to a woman. I am also bi myself n I don't want to sound big headed atall but I do tend to get alot of guys lookin at me. Personally I think kate is probably straight but then again, who am i to say if she is or not. Just becasue she is gorgeous doesn't mean she can't be gay or bi ect

exactly, I think ellen's girlfriend portia de rosi is stunning too, i used to watch ally mcbeal and by lookin at her i would have never have guessed that she was a lesbian lol so it just goes to show than u can get very pretty lesbains
again i dont want to offend any1 but if ur a lesbian i really dont see the point in goin for a woman who likes to dress like a man n cut her hair like a man ect when ur supposed to be attracted to woman, thats just my personal opinion, I dont have anything against butch lesbians, their just not my cup of tea lol -

That's true, just because she says she has a boyfriend doesn't mean she's straight, but it just mean she's dating a guy and hasn't touched on her true sexuality. Unless in another interview she says flat out that she's straight.

I've seen some pretty hot lesbians. They don't all have to be butched out truck drivers! And let's not forget, despite the fact that she has a boyfriend, maybe she hasn't figured it all out yet at her young and tender age of 22 (or 23)?

If you are talking about having a sapphic sexual encounter defining a woman as a Lesbian, I have to come to the conclusion that Kate is indeed a Lez or at the very least a Bi. Please watch the show and tell me how much of the sex on screen is REALLY simulated before you rebuke me!
If you talking about having a Relationship with a woman as defining a woman as a Lesbian, then it is entirely possible that she is straight.

its called acting !!!!!!!! when jennifer beals the actress does scenes in which she pretends to be love with tina does that mean that jennifer is in love with Laurel ?? you guys are weird. heath ledger acting in brokeback mountain - its called acting . in fact i would argue that playing a lesbian would be something a straight actress would love to do - its a stretch and you get noticed as a character actress with range. most people in hollywood and in the arts are liberal but that does not 2000mean they all are open to homosexuality in some way . just because you have gay friends and play a lesbian on a show does not mean you are open to it for your own life.

For the love of god does it really matter? Whether she's straight, bi, lesbian it wont change a thing. Ugh, I'm sorry but it really gets on my nerves when people care so much for someones sexuality. She doesn't have to be straight just because she's nice looking. Stereotypes are so annoying. >_<
