Are you saying J.D. Vance was stupid? That was him speaking candidly with a friend in private messages, who later released the messages. Those are his real thoughts. He changed his stance on Donald Trump after Trump won in 2016 and he knew he would need to support him to have any future in the Republican party.

You don't just call someone Hitler on a whim. I think you would agree that J.D. Vance is a very thoughtful person. When he makes such a bold claim then it is probably something he arrived at after careful consideration. If he saw the similarities then, they have only become more evident since. Since that time Trump has mentioned being a dictator, he has said he wishes he had generals like Hitler did, and he has said he would use the military on his political opponents. You may not think he is Adolph Hitler, but that any similarities can be drawn should be alarming to everyone.

Correction. You SHOULDN'T just call someone Hitler on a whim. In reality people have been doing so to Trump for years. And most of the reasons use to justify it can be applied to others whom they would never use the term against. Remember the whole kids in cages narrative? That had been law since Clinton yet no one used the term against Obama. And yet if Trump had not followed that law they likely would have attempted to impeach him for violating said law.
Since you agree that Vance is a thoughtful person the fact that he has changed his mind speaks for itself.
I can draw similarities between Hitler and every single president. It's not as hard as you may think nor is it as alarming for the same reason.
Trump is still your President. Charlie Kirk still Wins! -

Do you think people are more honest when they are are speaking privately, or do you think people are more honest when they become a politician and are trying to get votes? You can't compare what Trump has said with other presidents. No president has ever suggested they would use military force on their political enemies. You must be able to see how doing so is extremely alarming.

I hope you're right, but saying you would use the military to kill Americans is more than a simple gaffe. You don't just accidentally say that, and he said it more than once. It shows the type of person he is. If a leader is talking about killing their own citizens then you would be foolish not to be concerned.
