So OBJ and Dunham were both at an event at The Met, and what follows is amazing:
I was sitting next to Odell Beckham Jr., and it was so amazing because it was like he looked at me and he determined I was not the shape of a woman by his standards, Ms. Dunham said in the interview, which was posted last Friday. He was like: Thats a marshmallow. Thats a child. Thats a dog. It wasnt mean. He just seemed confused.
The problem was, Dunham and OBJ never had an exchange, not a single word. This delusional woman some how can read the minds of superstar wide receivers. Quite frankly, it's shallow of her to assume what OBJ was thinking of her was nasty. OBJ is a young guy and probably doesn't know who she is or probably doesn't give a damn. Her ego was probably bruised to the point of being ignored by him that she decided she'll create an internal narrative of Mr. Beckham to make it seem like he's in the wrong. Sorry Lena, no one is on your side in 5b4this one. -

I wrote about this before, yet every time I see it I get more and more upset.
She said he seemed confused ? What in the ____ dose he have to be confused about? Some people claimed that it was racist . I was not ready to get behind that line of thinking. But this calling him confused make me rethink that position.
When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser. -

this is coming from the viewpoint of an underprivileged white woman ,who thinks she is an "outsider" because she's chubby.
if we believed in the concept of "white Male Privilege" and the idea of "Affirmative Action", you have to realize White Women have benefited from both. -

Lena Dunham had no idea what Odell was thinking so she assumed that he was thinking about her. That's narcissism, no doubt. But, she assumed that he was thinking horrible, horrible things about her which is on such another level of strangeness. It's a very paranoid way of thinking.
"I'm trapped with a madman. Look at him, staring into me, filling my mind with paranoid thoughts. GASP I know what he's up to: He's thinking of killing me, and riding my carcass down the mountain to safety! He's truly gone mad if he's thinking that!"
To have your own insane thoughts is one thing, but to imagine that
someone else is thinking them
is schizophrenic. I can't blame someone for being mentally ill, but the non-apology Lena issued afterwards makes it hard to feel any sympathy for her. Her apology seemed to be aimed more towards the liberal left to amend the fact that she stepped out of line than to Odell Beckham Jr for the remarks she made against him. It was like she tried to spin the whole thing around so that
she
was the victim - the victim of her own self-inflicted embarrassment.
"Sure, I've done something horrible. Again. But I'm having a panic attack because of the embarrassment, so that means that I'm a victim too. Now, back off!"
The same thing happened when her book came out and people were calling her a child molester because of the things that she did to her little sister and Lena flipped out and acted like
she
was the victim because people were being
mean
to her. She has a giant ego but it's as fragile as an eggshell. She's so coddled and precious. Growing up she must have been treated like a little empress who could do no wrong and who was always sheltered and protected from the harsh realities of life and the natural consequences of her own actions. -

I agree with you completely and I wonder if her not being in touch with reality is from being overexposed too fast in her celebrity or from being very spoiled as a child by her parents.
Both her and her sibling seem to have a lot of angst and over the top rebellion. -

Smh I agree with you wholeheartedly. With5b4 a self esteem so low she must feel the need to be rushed to the ER if she gets bumped into on the subway and the person doesn't apologize. The worst part is Odell had to be dragged into this petty mess when all he did was SIT THERE. He is a professional athlete with a solid career that has to entertain this whole feud. I have no idea what Lena wanted to go towards? Comedy? A joke? Smh there was nothing funny about what she said and there was no reason at all for sharing that. The same with the so-called "curiosity" that came with molesting her sister. Lena Dunham has no reason at all for projecting her insecurities over some guy she doesn't know, the same with the molestation. It's just plain petty and selfish.

I think she believes she is so important and awesome that a guy who can get almost any hot woman would go for her because she thinks she is that great.
An athlete of his stature is not concerned who Dunham is, and he probably had never heard of her till this story.
Beckham can bang some very hot babes and he's not banging an average to below average looking Dunham just because she is a minor celebrity.
She is a hypocrite because for all her talk of accepting her as is, she really does think she's superior and men want her.
She is only known because the left wing media knows she will say controversial things and because they are on the same side, politically.
What is funny, the Left is the true racists in our society. They are the ones always bringing up race. -

This is accurate analysis. Racial tensions are higher than they've been since the 60s, and it pretty much all because of the left.
