I'll disagree. Mind you, I don't like her acting on Revolution, but I don't think it's a matter of talent. She's doing a good job of being the very annoying character she's playing, and that's not doing her much good. But, she has energy, and someone can put that energy to good use.
Some actors don't have to put any energy at all into their acting to get huge awards, simply because they have the suitable face or voice that gives the illusion of good acting, but that's not talent. She doesn't have that luxury, so for her to be perceived as a good actress she needs the proper role to put her energy into. -

I saw her in Kill For Me before I started Revolution and she convinced me of the character she portrays in that movie (which I won't describe in case of spoilers).
Could be the way she's interpreting her character. It's the same thing with Shay Mitchell from PLL. She was pretty terrible at first but she's actually decent now, and she's great in dramatic scenes so I'm thinking it's the way she interpreted the timid shy awkward character. They tend to overdo the facial expressions and eyebrows.
So they aren't the most amazing actresses but I don't think the blame is 100% them either. Although technically an amazing Oscar type actress would be able to turn nothing into something (See Between the 2 Ferns, Oscar Edition, part 1 and watch until the end when Amy Adams delivers the best line ever) -

In our home this actress/character is known as Frowny-Face. We had such high expectations for this show but Frowny-Face makes watching it almost unbearable. Just about ready to start our own revolution and turn the switch off to blackout this show forever.

I totally disagree.
Writing this header means you know little about characters and you're probably still a near-minor eager to post his/her views to the public in a striking one-liner?
Maybe she dumped you years ago and you want to get back at her. Don't be such an ass, please.
As far as I'm concerned this young lady has a special radiance that you might like or not, she's basic and that should be her strength, give her time to grow.
It's irresistible to consider your view as perfect; don't -

Gerfalcon,
I agree. Maybe the OP wanted some attention with that headline, which is a pretty juvenile approach. Must've known it would cause a big discussion, which it has. But, he's not too bright, and obviously hasn't watched that many actresses. If you don't like her, don't watch her. Plain and simple.
I think she's a very fine young actress. She has a unique look and style about her, which seems to work very well with her character. And since the airing of the show, I've had a chance to check out some of her other work. It makes me look forward to see her branch out into other projects, to further show the talent I think she possesses as an actress.
One thing, or maybe several things that I like about Tracy. She seems very grounded, very level-headed. She's pretty much dedicated to her family and her craft. She's a very delightful and entertaining woman when it comes to interviews. She comes across as nothing but humble and very gracious to be where she's at and what she's doing. She shows character, and not all young actresses today show those wonderful qualities. It makes me like her all the more, and just wish her more success than she's already received. Good for her. -

You are correct she is pretty bad which is why Revolution has shifted a lot of the focus off of Charlie and has attempted to make the character less annoying. Still this "actress" needs to take a lot more classes.

We can 'disagree to disagree" Tracy Spiridakos is an amazing actress. She is the pulse of Revolution. Tracy is by far one of the most talented and real actresses on television. She is so likeable as Charlie that you find yourself cheering for her, Miles and the Revolution. The show rocks and one of the major reasons is Tracy Spiridakos' awesome acting!!!!!

I can't watch any scene she is in. She over acts with her faceit is just constantly going. I don't think she has ever shown a true expression. It's like she is practicing in front of her mirror. She is ruining the show. Just calm your facial expressions down, woman!,

I disagree. I like 'Charlie' and hope she stays. Perhaps with the cast moving to Austin, Texas for next season, the character will be developed more in-depth. I'm no critic, and I have a sneaky suspicion, neither are you or your merry band of dittoheads.

I totally agree with you! I recently watched the entire first season on Netflix, as I never got around to watching the show. I really liked it to start out with, but after a while, things started to annoy me, and I couldn't figure out what things until I read some reviews on the show on Netflix. And it's definitely her! Her character is soooo annoying! And Rachel, her mom, isn't much better. I would've rather they got rid of her than Nora! Ah, yeah just really disappointed in the show in general. They had such a good thing going, but they definitely ran out of steam towards the middle of the 1st season. Haven't watched any of the second, but I was reading the about the episodes on Wikipedia and they don't sound that great! Anyway, couldn't help but reply, as I definitely see where you are coming from. So annoying!

I agree that she was annoying in season 1, but she's really managed to win me over for season 2. Don't know if the 238acting got better or if she just was given better material, but the few times she's traded words with Monroe (in particular in the abandoned pool scene), I've been riveted.
