And if she gets no response here, she simply moves on to her next gambit: moving her act to another board, where she will fire an opening salvo against CFB in an attempt to draw regulars on the board into a feud situation, once she feels she's ingratiated herself amongst said users. She's attempted this quite successfullyfor a timewith Film General, and more recentlyand with far less success because she was prevented from doing so (as well as the regulars on both boards having better sense than to be drawn in)on boards such as The Watercooler and Food And Drink.
As I said, it's a problematic situation with no pat answer. But I continue to feel it's better that her behavior be somewhat checked by keeping an eye on it, than by letting her roam at will to do whatever damage she sees fit wherever she sees fit to do it. And she is capable of doing damage.

Like Boomer Baby, I strongly dislike homophobic slurs, and I also dislike users who make a point of harassing, stalking and engaging in sundry malicious behaviors against people who've done nothing whatsoever to the user. I suppose I do get bothered by egregious bad behavior, especially the sort that is very difficult to simply tune out. And I definitely don't feel that people who engage in that behavior on a regular basis should be given a free pass, or have a blind eye turned to it by onlookers.

Don't think for one second that she isn't using this excuse to slam him. This is a thread about him. The narcissist wants the thread to be about her & to degrade him at the same time.
Any time anyone uses a homophobic slur I am going to stick up (her favorite expression to describe her actions on IMDb) for the targeted group. -

Oh geez.I just didn't want to see Ale chased off the board just because one person took over the poll without his permission. - She runs to another board with a typical revisionist/simplified history of what happened, playing the victim as having been jumped on for saying that she missed another well-respected CFBer.
- Does some introspection and comes back to say "you're right, I was being a homophobic hypocrite."

Tell you what for now - I could theoretically squeeze in a poll if I wanted to do it right away before going on a trip in November - but that trip might be for 3 weeks and I'm not sure when we're leaving. So if you guys want to run the next poll or two before the new year and zetes' 2016 poll, go right ahead, and we'll discuss whether I'll return to it after the new year. I'll try to check in on the forums this weekend but I'm kind of busy for the next day or two I think.
So I think Gromit & I should just host a couple of polls before new year. Or would people rather just wait for OldAle..?
I'll be waiting, with a gun and a pack of sandwiches.
