With all these recent Top 10 Nerd Moments videos being released, I am starting to wonder, is he retiring the Nerd after the movie's released? I mean, Doug basically did the same thing during his brief retirement of The Nostalgia Critic. It also kinda makes sense because The Angry Video Game Nerd Movie has its plot based around E.T., the most requested game he's ever gotten to review. So is he retiring the Nerd? If he is, should he? If not, when should he? This just opens the door to a million questions

I think it's more likely because they take relatively little time to compile, so he can regularly post "new" content and keep his site fresh, rather than devote 100+ hours on an AVGN episode. Hopefully the movie is a big reason he doesn't have the time.

Ending? I doubt it, he maybe taking a break. I really dislike it when Mike Matei puts up his own reviews, its never the same as James.

Hell, it seems he retired the nerd just to make the nerd movie.

The bigger question would be: Will the Nerd movie mark the grand finale for the series and the character?
