He's gotten way too many Oscar moms in the short time he's been around. He might be a good actor, but it seems like every year he is nominated.
He's made remarks that bugged me such as he was putting all his effort into every film in hopes he wins an Oscar. I may have this story wrong, but it was something along those lines. Also that his acting was "top notch" for A Complete Unknown, he's one if "the greats" and he gets disappointed when he doesn't win.
That all coupled with dating a Jenner/Kardashian, the ballet comment, I really hope he doesn't win this year. -

Whoa! I had no idea that he had been nominated before.
I have heard and read that he has been pushing hard for the Oscar this year because of this Bob
Dylan performance.
I really haven't paid much attention to the Academy Awards in a number of years.
It's like the Super Bowl. I get the highlights days after the big event…
what everyone wore, who made the biggest asses out of themselves..l
This kid has been a dull bleep on my radar for a couple of years.
I can see why people feel the way they do about him.

He was nominated last year for playing Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, but lost out to Adrian Brody. He supposedly is in the lead contender this year for Marty Supreme and his biggest rival is Michael Jordan for Sinners. He's also been nominated a couple other times in the past too.But I can't even remember what films for. I reluctantly watch the Academy awards every year just because it's something to watch and it's entertaining lol. I don't often agree with some of the nominations and winners, though.

Oh!
I'm a year late! I assumed it was the Bob Dylan movie. That's how much I follow films!

You're not wrong about that. The Academy Awards show IS the Superbowl of the Hollywood community. That was the reason it was created. It is that one night annually where Hollywood kisses each other's asses. -

It's no secret. No grand revelation. They made it obvious. I used to enjoy watching it because I like Hollywood movies, but lately they've gone into a direction I wish not to follow. Besides, the films and actors being nominated are not really interesting enough for me to care about.
