I don't understand the strategy of these candidates doing podcasts when very few people actually listen to them, especially voters. It's mostly a young demographic who are into podcasts and they don't even tend to vote. Network television is the best way to reach voters. I think Trump could really regret not doing another debate.

They are a big platform to a very limited demographic. Most of the people who listen to podcasts are young men and young men are not big voters. The ones in Joe Rogan's audience who are voters are probably already Trump voters. He isn't changing many minds. Doing another debate would allow him to reach out to a much bigger and more relevant audience.
