For a greater understanding of Bieber, check out this:
          http://www.amazon.com/JB-Unexpected-Virtue-Being-Swaggy/dp/1937696170/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1450805740&sr=1-1
Whether you love Bieber or hate him, it's a terrific book, and should be required reading for all teenagers.

I don't hate this kid, but I don't like him and I definitely get why people would. He suffers from a sever case of entitlement, which is why most people hate him and that's where most of his probably stem from. He's entitled to pee in a bucket, drag race, ditch a pet, cheat on his gf, spit on his fans, etc etc etc. Rules are for other people and he can do whatever he wants and that's a really ugly attitude that most people hate because we all have to follow the rules.
IMO if he didn't feel so entitled he would be an ok person, but the fact is he's been super famous and practically worshiped since he was about 14 years old so he's messed up. I feel sorry for him but at the same time I think he's a serious a-hole and basically deserves what he gets. He's gotten his hand slapped enough times and yet he hasn't changed for the better.
Stuff like talking about Anne Frank is in SUCH bad taste, but imo it's more like a young person who's put of touch with reality, like John Lennon saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus. A lot of kids say some pretty stupid things, I know when I was young I said some stupid things I'm glad haven't been spread around the world for everyone to mock.
IMO the problem with Bieber is that no one remembers he's just a kid and they have too high expectations for him while he himself has too low expectations of his own behavior.

Yeah, nothing he's done has been all that awful, given the current celebrity era.
And, yes, his sense of entitlement is indeed that thing that seems so unlikeable about him but how do you become the most famous person on earth at age 15 and not have that happen?
One thing working for Justin, though, is that while he's undereducated formally, he seems to be intelligent and well aware that he comes off as entitled.
So we'll see where that goes.
I've been pretty critical about Justin, too, and he's often been very difficult to like.
But, obnoxious kid with too much money though he may be, it's not like he killed anybody. (There are people on the dais of his roast who indeed have, yet they're not reviled for it).
Justin was a boy when fame was thrust upon him. He went from total anonymity to becoming the Most Famous Person On Earth within about 5 minutes That's not normal. And that kind of notoriety has ruined (and even killed) countless adults, let alone children.
Not only that, but teenaged Justin entered the industry at a time when even the biggest talents were being encouraged to behave as badly as possible for purposes of generating press (the kind of stunts once the territory of mere wannabes). And an entire tabloid industry grew up pushing these boringly endless kinds of bad-boy/bad-girl stories.
So somebody, a lot of somebodies, were making money off of (and encouraging) various celebs' bad behavior, including his.
It's a business. A Bad Behavior Business which involves tons of different people along the line.
Sure, Justin has responsibility for his own actions. But during most of all this, he was just a kid. That doesn't excuse all of it, no, but he seems to be an intelligent if under-educated (e.g., "the Sixteenth Chapel") young man who appears to have genuinely realized that his media image is tiresome, not really who he wants to be, and if he wants to avoid Flavor-of-the-Month status, he needs to move away from the Obnoxious Kid persona.
That's not necessary insincere, nor the work of a cynical publicist.
And the fact that he was rated one of the top money makers in music last year (despite some flops) suggests he doesn't "have" to clean up his act unless he chooses to.
In fact, one of the reasons people are now screaming "bullsh!t" on Justin today is that once you try to genuinely correct things, people smell vulnerability and go for the jugular in a way they never really did when you were acting out irresponsibly. (And if he was scamming us, a lot of people would wrongly respect the "hustle").
If Beiber was older, I'd probably dismiss his recent public gestures at "change." But given his age, I'm willing for a while to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Remember: he didn't kill anybody. Nothing he's done has been any worse than Young-Rich-Kid-Arrogance egging houses and saying d5b4umb things outside Anne Frank's attic.
In an odd way, it can all be summed up in one of Justin's retorts at his roast last year: "What do you get when you give a teenager $200 million? A room full of has-beens calling you a lesbian for two hours."
And that's about it. He's been behaving in typically jerky celebrity fashion of the present era. I'm not saying that there's not a jerk beneath the jerk, but our reviling him as a superlative agent of evil is kind of silly.
If he's acting like Mel Gibson in five years, or
              Robert Blakes
an ex, then we can give up on him.

The people that love Justin Bieber are naïve youngsters and the people that hate him are people with serious self-esteem and/or anger issues or wish they were young and naïve again. And getting very famous when you just started getting weenie hair can have a contributing effect on your still-developing brain.
I predicted a few years ago he'd either be dead or a has-been, but his mediocre, Disney, electro-pop that is popular with every other person in their 20's on down shows no sign of decline.

He needs a big, hairy muscle-daddy to keep him warm at night and off the street. He'll never attain happiness any other way.
                  Any recommendations?

-His writings within the Anne Frankie house was a vile and detestable act on a very sensitive topic in world history. The fact Beliebers defend him is horrific and embarrassing for this generation. Even for humanity.
-His haughty arrogance. Talking and acting with this egotistical "I'm better than anybody else" facade makes me hate him more and more. This right here (even tho he has a good voice) overshadows his songs, to me.
-The Beliebers. They make me hate him mb68ore than he himself makes me hate him. Defending him for all of his offensive and stupid stuff he does.

(your first and last reason put together since form a direct relation to one antoher, with the last being part of the first reason.:))
Very good point..though he';s losing famous support even of this generation and the one before: Seth Rogen..Taylor5b4 Swiftetc. But then Taylor, whom I DO love, has been in the celeb maqazines, including the three I bought in Vegas a few dahys ago, for losing more supporters, including celebrities who have now turned against her but that was due to her being a favorite mockery tartget of Kim Kardashain and Kanye West, who did one of her songs with out permissionand Taylor Swift has rightly sued. Team Taylor.)

And it even invaded into that "Love Yourself" songvirtually the entire point of that song (even though he didn't write it, but probaly requested this type of song to be written..)
