The difference between Bieber and most other "products" of the time (Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Demi Levato, etc) is that Bieber was actually discovered independently on the basis of his own talent and his own productions, rather than as a packaged and marketed creation of Disney.
Except Justin Bieber doesn't have any talent.
Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera, and Demi Lovato are excellent singers. Bieber can barely sing live. -
