Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Clara Paget

    pjtaylor2011 — 12 years ago(May 13, 2013 05:55 AM)

I was lucky enough to be Clara's driver when she was shooting for Fast 6 in Tenerife. Not only beautiful, but a really nice down to earth person. She was a breath of fresh air after driving some really big egos. Hope she makes her ambition to be a Bond girl.

She only had one scene, where she was ran out of a car and was chased by Kim Kold. She said it only lasted a couple of seconds, but I've not seen the film yet so can't say for sure. She was certainly blonde when I met her.

That wouldn't be fair to saysome people who were pretty cool were Ludacris and Kim Kold. Paul Walker aswell, although I didn't speak to him seemed a pretty genuine guy.

that's an effective way to get a-holes to stop being a-holes, point at them and say hey everyone this guy's an a-hole. 😛
just kidding I admire your restraint for strangers, fair indeed.

What a damn shame about Walker. Everything you hear about him was that he was a genuine, decent guy. Nice to hear that Paget is nice as well.

Have you considered that actors might just be people who want to get where they're going?
Why do idiots like you feel obliged to judge everyone based on how overly nice and appeasing they are to you personally?

NoYou're totally right.I hadn't considered it, but now you've pointed it out, of course they must be people who want to get to where they're going.
Thanks for judging me as an idiot.I'm sorry that me saying publicly that I found somebody to be nice has so offended your sensibilities.

Why do dumbasses like you feel the need to be rude to someone that was not saying anything inappropriate about anyone. Ghosthunter123424 is a perfect example of the scum that troll IMDB.

The implication is that anyone who isn't bending over for a driver or a autograph hunter, is somehow mean, rude etc.
Those comments are common in every thread. "wah, didn't give me an autograph wah", or "boo hoo, they didn't engage me in conversation for 30 minutes while I performed my job".
They're just actors. Can you imagine any other job where ppl come up and pester you. You'd be nice at first, but eventually you're going to snap.

Yeah after having to be nice at first, I can imagine you snapping pretty quickly. But just to clarifyI didn't pester anyone, I didn't ask anybody for their autograph..But I did work with some big egos and it had nothing to do with the fact that they talked to me or not. But just to take issue with something you point out.I've actually worked in a number of vocations, and in everyone I've generally tried to get along with the people I work WITH. They're called WORK COLLEAGUES and talking to them whether they're the director of the company or the lady who comes in at the end of the day to clean the office is called CIVILITY.

Don't let it get to you too much, this Ghostbusters person is obviously a troll. Just because actors are people, doesn't mean that they shouldn't be capable of common courtesy. Guess Ghostbuster is an example of someone who isn't capable of common courtesy.

There was really no need to call that guy an idiot based on an assumption you made on what was implied in his message.
There aren't many other jobs where people are pestered every day, but guess what, they know that when they choose that career and they know all those people are their livelihood. If no one gives a beep about you, no one will watch your work and you're out of a job, like millions of other actors. Giving something back to your fan base when you're raking in millions per role is a pretty decent thing to do and to a certain extent part of the job. People harassing actors is a different story.
I've worked in this industry for just under 10 years and I've met a lot of big egos, people who assume just because they're famous they are somehow better than everyone else and treat others like beep It's refreshing when you meet someone who is actually a down to earth decent person.
Also, it's "big egos". Learn how to write.

Ironic. Hollywood has a long list of actors who were in real life the nicest of guys - according to people who personally knew them - in films and television they had to portray the worst of villains and thugs. Often these actors looked 'mean' therefore they were perfect for the role. With women it's more dicey. A pretty woman it seems can play at different roles equally well, dramatic, comedy, and even villainesses.
