Just saw her on 30 Rock and her character made a Pokemon reference when speaking about "her generation", which I found odd because I really thought she was about 15 years too old for that time. Imagine my surprise when she's only four years older than I am.

She has a mature face, but usually people who have older looking faces at a younger age don't experience many facial changes over the years.

I agree with OP she looks very old - tired eyes, droopy face, wrinkles but that doesn't change the fact that she is indeed a good actress and still very pretty.

I just saw her in Hannibal and thought, oh so there's Will's wife, she's about 40. That't correct.
Then I go to IMDB - and she's 30. No bloody way.

I first saw her on 30 Rock about two and a half years ago, and I was thrown when the character makes a Pokemon reference as if it is her generation. Turns, out she was only 20-something when she was on 30 Rock.
I've heard great things about her as an actress, though.

I do regret making these disparaging comments about her appearance. I was an idiot. Ultimately none of it matters. She's an accomplished, wonderful actress.
