She is very good at doing nothing.

What Gwens really great at is making do with a small part until its time for her character to shine. Thats what she did with Brienne going from Season 2 to Season 3. Shes primed to do it again.
On the Star Wars front, Captain Phasma had a brief introduction in
The Force Awakens
, as shes meant to pay homage to Boba Fett, who had even less to do in
A New Hope
. Its already been confirmed that Phasma will have a greater role to play in the next film.
On the Game of Thrones front, Jaime and Briennes arcs were both stalled for a season due to timeline conflicts between their converging arc and the rest of the story. So the writers sent Jaime to Dorne and had Brienne stare at a candle. Of the two, Brienne got off easy. But Gwen has done a ton of filming for season 6. Brienne should have a great season given what has been leaked already. -

I absolutely agree.. I really enjoyed GoT season 5, but it had some serious flaws in the writting. The whole Dorne storyline was kinda boring in the book (there, I said it.) so they thought they'd "improve on it" by adding some by-the-book crappy TV writting to that formula. Meanwhile they have her stare at a candle for 10 episodes and then miss it.. I can already tell2000 they got some interesting stuff planned for her character in season 6, so I hope they don't disappoint.
And yeah, I get that Star Wars couldn't flesh out her character, but that's why we'll have three movies. They seem to be keeping the smaller bad guy characters so they can give them arcs and make them more interesting. beep if they tried to do every character they introduce justice right in the first movie, they'd end up with a bunch of under-developed characters.
Wouldn't want people to get the impression I'm hating here.. the only reason why I even brought it up is because I wanna see more of her in those parts.
But yeaah.. she was beep useless so far!
