What is with the hair?

She's a beautiful young lady but she needs to wax that little moustache and groom her eyebrows to minimize he comparison to boys. Even just parting her hair on the side and sweeping it over a bit would feminize her look. Same here! I have never seen this show & just happened upon an episode tonight I saw her character on screen & wondered is that a boy or a girl??? So I came here, because I was so confused, lol. I guess she's a girl, but wow that's a bad haircut

Leave her be.
A lot of people, myself included, like that look, though some can't admit it. She also looks like those recent candid pictures of Emma Watson in her short cut, which isn't too shabby either. -

My guess would be she either A) likes her hair short and is willing to get extensions for roles that call for them or B) keeps her hair short because for some reason Hollywood believes that ingenues have long flowing hair and edgy, serious girls have short hair. She might have been encouraged to get her hair cut to help her get roles like the one she got in Detachment.
