Yeah he has multiple quite a few on his forearms he has 4 chevrons on his right outer forearm:

I think One Direction is trying to "break the mold" so to speak. They all have exposed and very noticeable tattoos (with the exception of Niall I think), they are always grabbing each other's junk and squeezing one another's asses, almost every interview they have is teem5b4ing with innuendo, they are all pretty open about the fact that none of them are virgins, they go out drinking. In short, they aren't trying to pretend like they are wholesome. And I think that's why I like them. N*Sync and Backstreet Boys were fine, but I always felt like they were putting on a front they were trying to maintain this image while behind the scenes they were doing everything you'd expect. One Direction's image is just how they actually are.
