Ariana Grande has a big question for MAGA supporters: "Are you happier?"
The singer/actress who supported Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential elections sparked mixed reactions after reposting a scathing post about the alleged state of the economy under Donald Trump's reign.
The social media letter, penned initially by makeup artist Matt Bernstein, was reposted by Ariana Grande on her Instagram Story. The post went viral on X after a fan account dropped the question to MAGA supporters.
Ariana Grande Wants To Know If Donald Trump Supporters Are Happy
Grande reshared Bernstein's query to Trump voters on Sunday, September 28, which asked if they were happier under his reign. The letter addressed to MAGA supporters noted that it has been 250 days since the president's return to the Oval Office, yet several communities have continued to suffer.
"Immigrants have been violently torn from their families, and communities have been destroyed," with trans people allegedly living in fear after being blamed for every problem, and free speech was at risk. "Has your life gotten better? Have your groceries gotten cheaper?" the letter continued, adding:
"Has your health insurance premium gone down? Has your work/life balance improved? Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier?"
"Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?" the post concluded.
Critics Called For The Former Nickelodeon Star's Deportation
Grande's recent post wasn't the first time she had clashed with Trump supporters. In June, The Blast shared that many had called for the "Wicked" actress's deportation after she reposted a protester's placard with the message condemning the deportations.
"Could someone explain which crimes get you deported and which ones get you elected President? It's so confusing," the sign read. Trump supporters took offence at Grande's repost and demanded that she be deported on X.
One critic claimed nobody would care if Trump deported Grande because she wasn't beneficial to the GDP. Another echoed similar sentiments, claiming she deserved to be deported, while a third slammed her for not respecting the President.
