Shes been in the business only a few years and is already grabbing a lot of roles. Several of these have somehow been associated with Vera Farmiga or people Vera has worked with herself. Her family is also wealthy (without Vera her parents are wealthy).
Taissa is talented but she is not anything specialher talent is pretty standard and mediocre thus far. She seems to play the same character over and over and always looks the same..same hair, etc. for me, it is basically "taissa farmiga as so and so" or "taissa farmiga as violet 2.0"..i cant ever separate her from her roles because she doesnt disappear into theshe isnt her characters, shes herself playing a character.
If she was some girl without connections she'd still be waiting tables while auditioningtheres no way shed be where shes at without Vera and her family money.
Shes very privileged and has had every door opened for her with very little,effort. Got to love money and nepotism! -

I wouldn't mind nepotism if she were as talented as her sister or she's hot. But she's fugly. Let's cut her hair or tie them and she'll look like a potato -

I like Taissa a lot. I think she's a pretty good actress (she impressed me a lot as Violet anyway). She was good at delivering raw emotion but she was a bit bland at points. She hadn't been an actress long though and AHS was her first role. I also think she's very pretty; not classically beautiful mind, but she has quite an unusual look which is endearing. It's something to do with her eyes and smile.
However, I do agree completely with the nepotism thing. She also had no ambitions to be an actress and sort of 'fell into it'. Now she's making TV shows and films with incredibly big names like Jessica Lange and Emma Watson.
I will be honest, I hadn't heard of Vera Farmiga either until I watched AHS and Taissa. -

I think her acting is fine & she's really striking looking. She's not typical Hollywood, she's unique & has a wonderful smile & really pretty eyes. As for nepotism & money, some of us are luckier than others, that's life. She's taken advantage of her connections & natural gifts, no need to slam her for that. As an unknown on AHS season 1 she was quite a surprise & quickly became my favorite
character in a strong field of them. As Zoe I thought she was perfect. Haven't seen her other roles yet, but plan on it. -

Ive seen most of her movies, and she is usually a sulking teen or moody or troubled somehow. Her acting in Middleton was cringeworthy.
She is very pretty but other than that nothing special. Shes lucky to have a famous sister. Most of the roles shes had have been because of Vera or people connected to Vera somehow. -

Critics is also in awe over her and THEY KNOW what they are talking about because its their job to judge actors day in day out. face it you have no freaking clue what a good actor is. You are just an insignificant little hater on the internet

Taissa had connections for the Beatty project. One of the producers of that project also produced Running Scared, which starred Vera. Vera has stated that Taissa didnt even know who Warren Beatty is, she was texting and asking Vera who he was.
Jason Blum produced Insidious and worked with James Wan who directed both Insidious and The Conjouring. Blum also produced In A Valley of Violence..
Nicole Daniels and Courtney Sheinen were the casting directors for Bling Ring, as well Goats..which starred Vera
At Middleton obviously starred Vera and Taissa together
Carly Hugo produced Higher Ground, and also Share, a short film with Taissa
Vera recommended Taissa for the role in Anna to a man she had worked with on The Conjouring
Amanda Johnson was the casting director for both Jamesy Boy and Dummy..which starred Vera

So she had connections for some of her movies who the hell hasn't in hollywood. Everyone is connected in hollywood. Directors work with the same actors many times ect.. This is the same thing here. And you are trying to make a big deal out of it because you got a CHILDISH biased hate towards her. Grow up man
