Just another Hollywood nepotism case…

Her first film was one of her sisters films and her most recent one, anna, is produced by the guy who produced the conjuring(her sister again). I don't believe anyone has ever actually worked their way-on their own merit-in Hollywood, at least since the early days of film.

Or just realizing the reality of the casting process. If you're a person who wants to be a working actor you might express some "sour grapes" as well (not saying the OP has sour grapes).
I always find it amusing when people point these types of things - like how casting is becoming predictable or if one complains about an actor and someone fires a "Well you're just jealous," or "He's rolling to the bank," to "You're working a boring retail job or something while he's living his dream," when it comes to actors or even professional athletes but never politicians.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE HER, AVOID HER PRODUCTIONS THEN !! No-one's forcing you to see them.
Some seem to have a massive chip on their shoulders and are targeting Taissa for it ! She certainly doesn't seem stuck up or arrogant, stays out of the limelight & comes across as extremely sweet so why such hate, I don't understand.
As I say, don't watch her stuff then, then we'll all be happy. -

True in a way.
There are a few actors whose careers I follow and I make sure to know who are the producers of their gigs and if those producers were on any past projects with the given actor. Sure enough, most of the time, there's at least one producer who has been on past projects with them. If it's not the producer it's probably the casting director.
That's why almost every working actor today - especially on indie movies - have some sort of Six Degrees with one another. Casting is usually recycled and certain actors are considered for certain roles. You can tell which actors are being looked at, especially when it comes to actresses. There maybe one or two unknowns being considered amongst a handful of the usual prospects.
That's why we see the same faces for years instead of a studio system its, like I would to call it, "unofficial tenure."

It would bother me if she wasn't talented. But she is. And she fits every single role she's gotten perfectly. So much so, that she's one of my favorite young actresses and I make a point of seeing anything she's in (the same goes for her sister Vera). There is a lot of unwarranted nepotism going around, I'll give you that. But I wouldn't put Taissa in that basket. At all.

She looks and acts the same in every role ive seen her in since ahs season 1. She has exactly 1 facial expression
Her role in AMS season 3 was written very poorly, but if you don't like her, DON'T WATCH HER THEN !
