Thank you. However, according to some people we are both "idiots" because we feel that she is beautiful and beauty is a mathematical formula that can be proven.
I always find comical the need for one to present their subjective opinion as fact or the need to insult others for their personal preferences (what movies they like, who they find attractive, etc.) It's clearly insecurity. -

Taylor Swift?
Let me get this straight. You want a person with almost no acting history and you also think SHE is prettier than Lily James?
And I don't think Elle Fanning is as pretty as Lily James either, heck of a young actress though. -

Elle Fanning? Thanks god you're not responsible for casting. She looks like a shot deer with wet eyes. Not even close to a beauty.

I agree 100%. When I first saw the teaser for the new Cinderella movie I was elated. Now, after seeing the trailers, I'm just not as excited and I really think it's because of the casting for Cinderella herself. I've never considered myself a vain person, and Lily James is absolutely a gorgeous woman. I just imagined her differently, is all. Kind of like when a movie is finally made of a great book, and the lead just isn't how you pictured them in your head.

I often stood in front of the mirror alone, wondering how ugly a person could get.

What you are saying is subjective and entirely based on opinion regardless of calling others "PR reps" or "idiots".
Also, please cite the specific psychological study that PROVES everyone thinks the same people are beautiful. Then cite the study that PROVES that Lily James is "average looking". At best you'll find some THEORIES that may support what you say but you'll likely find some disagreement within the psychological community or further studies on the theories to be inconclusive (like many things with psychology). When you're done with that, go ahead and explain why the human concept of beauty often varies from culture to culture or from time period to time period.
Again, it's perfectly reasonable for one to argue she is not "pretty enough" for one's perception of what Cinderella should be. That's not the argument. The argument is calling her111c "average looking". She is not "average" compared with the entirety of the human population. For Hollywood actressesmaybe. That was not specified.
