If I was a celeb, or someone who had something to lose, I would just stfu about world topics. If any reporter asked me about it they would just get radio silence.
Then again, in this day and age NOT speaking out on something bad will make people accuse you of supporting it, when the truth is you just dont want to be involved.

I think that's a fair point.
I just think that if they are going to speak out they ought to seriously consider the impact that their words are going to have. Hopefully Sarandon can live with people now thinking her antisemitic and the possible ramifications of that.
