In Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus was asked which commandment was the most important. He replied Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Yes, Jesus says this. I challenge you to find the Pope saying something different. Jesus also says, "Judge not, lest ye be judged." he gives numerous examples of this behavior. For instance, he tells you "Why do you see the speck in your neighbors eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your neighbor, Let me take the speck out of your eye, while the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbors eye."
Pope Francis is, in my humble opinion, a wicked, evil, demonically driven man.
Exactly, how does this fly with those commandments? Who are you to judge the Pope?
I know something you don't know I am ambidextrous!

"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
      Matthew 7:14
"This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves"
      Galatians 2:4
      Jesus warned about false prophets.
      Paul warned about false teachers:
      http://www.biblegateway.com/resources/commentaries/IVP-NT/Gal/Exposing -False-Teachers
      Exposing the False Teachers
In his exposure of these false teachers, Paul gives us six identifying marks that can guide us to discern the presence of "wolves in sheep's clothing" in our midst today.
First, false teachers distract Christians from obeying the truth of the gospel (v. 7). Paul compliments the Galatian believers for running a good race. Running a race was one of Paul's favorite images for living the Christian life. Here this image portrays how well they were obeying the truth. The gospel set the course for their life, and they were running well in that course. The reality of their belief in the truth about Christ was demonstrated by their obedience to Christ. But then they were distracted, tripped and so hindered from running this race. Paul asks them, Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? The question is rhetorical. Paul knows the answer. But by asking the question this way he exposes the false teachers' negative effect on the life of the believers. The picture is of a runner who distracts another runner, blocks his way, cuts in on him and trips him. Everyone would have been very angry with a runner who did such a thing. He would have broken the clear rules against cutting in or tripping in the foot races of the Greek festivals. He would be immediately disqualified and excluded from the festival.
The false teachers are hindering the Christians from obeying the truth of the gospel with all their talk about joining the Jewish people and keeping the law. All those who get the church off on a tangent, away from the clear direction given by the central truth of the gospel, are like these false teachers. They should be disqualified and excluded from the churches.
Second, false teachers replace the call of God with their own deceptive persuasiveness (v. 8). That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you, Paul informs his readers. When Paul had preached the gospel, the Galatians heard the voice of God calling them through Paul (1:6). But when the false teachers teach, all that can be heard is flattery, boastfulness and empty rhetoric. They are skillful orators. No doubt they claim to be giving God's message backed by Scripture. But all one can hear through their strident voices is a harsh repetition of the demands of the law. What a contrast to "the one who called you by the grace of Christ" (1:6) and the God who "called me by his grace" (1:15). Their message is all about the works of the law, not about God's work of grace in Christ. So obviously their persuasion does not come from God, who always calls by his grace.
Third, false teachers gain control over the whole church (v. 9). Just as a little yeast works through the whole batch of dough, so the negative influence of a few false teachers has penetrated the whole church and is quickly coming to control the direction of the church. False teachers are like that; they seek to dominate every situation in the life of the church.
Fourth, false teachers cause confusion and discouragement (v. 10). When the Galatians were converted, they related to God with the joyful confidence of children, calling him "Abba, Father" through the Spirit. But their confidence in God's grace has been badly shaken by the false teachers, who threaten them with the judgment of God if they do not keep the law of God. They are confused and discouraged. So Paul reassures the Galatians of his confidence in the Lord regarding them: I am confident in the Lord that you will take no o

Yes, the Bible warns against false prophets. My question is "Who are you to judge them?" I've seen nothing to suggest that the Pope is one of these false prophets. He is following Jesus's parable of the lost sheep.
        Luke 15
1 Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming near to listen to him. 2 And the Pharisees and the scribes were grumbling and saying, This fellow welcomes sinners and eats with them.
3 So he told them this parable: 4 Which one of you, having a hundred sheep and losing one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one that is lost until he finds it? 5 When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders and rejoices. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost. 7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Is it so surprising that he 2000would meet with Jews and Muslims in a conciliatory fashion? That is exactly what Jesus taught us to do. It's the same as Paul and the apostles whenever they traveled to new lands, they met with the Jews in the area first to teach them about Christ. They did not insist on Jewish practices (such as circumcision), but they did not condemn them either. In fact, Peter was told point blank that he was Jewish and must follow Jewish customs even when meeting with gentiles.
As near as I can figure, you're the one distorting the message. The message of Jesus (and Paul) is that His message must be taught to the Gentiles i.e. what the Pope is doing is a requirement of Jesus. yet, you call the Pope a "false prophet".
I know something you don't know I am ambidextrous!

The Pope is definetely a false teacher. His own words condemn him.
He believes that athiests can go to Heaven.
He believes that muslims pray to the same God as a believer like me.
He allowed an Imam to pray to a false god at the Vatican for the first time ever. See for yourself:
I don't recollect Paul or Peter ever saying that Zeus and God were the same.
Jesus said that no one could come to the Father expect through Him. Yet according to this Pope an atheist can be saved.
There are a few more things. But the things that I have mentioned will do.

Some Christians have the perspective that Jesus does come to people on the verge of death who tried in life and gives them a chance to accept him and others believe that generally believing in some of Jesus's teachings is enough to be saved and not necessarily the supernatural stuff. The are some other perspectives as well. Those beliefs fit with the Bible.

The Muslim God is very similar to the Old Testament God.

One needs to have a relationship with the Lord in this life to make it to the Kingdom.

Galatians 5:14 - For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself.
Now I have outed YOU as the false teacher. But we already knew you were going to hell anyway, for teaching false doctrines and extra-biblical prophesies.
Well young Ernie. The Pope is not loving the athiest by preaching untruths to them.

I would say that you need to try to understand the Catholic concept of heaven before you go condemning him. Heaven is not a place, like Yonkers. It is a reservoir for the spirit (soul.) Your spiritual journey through Jesus does not end with your physical life. Consider this possibility everyone goes to heaven, but your 'bliss' is your relationship with God. Those who have a nonexistent relationship with God will feel a constant and powerful want. They may not even understand why this want is so powerful.
The want may even reach to a level of physical pain. The idea is that you determine your distance from God, not He. But, this is just a way to express an idea about heaven. I know that I cannot possibly understand the true nature until I arrive (maybe not even then.)
What people call the One God, is immaterial. You can call Him the Creator, God, Yahweh, Jehovah, Allah or Bob. Whatever helps you focus your prayer. It is the faith which brings you closer. I just can't believe that you somehow have decided that you are a better messenger than the Pope. That's a level of arrogance which stretches far beyond the humility practiced by Jesus.
One more time how would you propose to welcome the lost sheep? or the prodigal son? Jesus was loving and welcoming. Why do you say differently?
I know something you don't know I am ambidextrous!

You YOURSELF have called "god" by many different names, you hypocrite.
Maybe you and Henry Makow have more things in common than you admit.
Those names are biblical names or titles reflecting the true God.

                                God is not immaterial
I didn't say that. Is that what your religion teaches? twist other people's words. That sounds like the very definition of the false prophet.
I said His name was immaterial. In the Bible He says, "I am, who am." I notice you did not use that as one of your names. Instead, you chose the most generic name you could "God".
For the lost sheepthe only way they can be saved is to have the Gospel preached to them. And if they accept the message they will be saved.
Notice that is the opposite of what Jesus preaches. He sat down with the sinners and spoke to them. The father ran out and welcomed the prodigal son. Which is what the Pope is doing.
And as to this Catholic belief. I do not know how much you have right since I am not versed in them. I see many untruths in it.
You can't see at all you are blind. You distort and twist the Gospel to your own version. Get away from me, you Satan.
You should read the Gospels over. Pay close attention to how different Jesus message is to yours.
Nobody is suffering in hellfire today, and the vast majority of people who have died are not in heaven. This might shock you, but its exactly what the Bible teaches.
Yes, that's the Catholic view you should try to understand it. Few souls go directly to heaven. Few people are that close to God, but all have the chance to make it there (including atheists who are otherwise good people, and gasp, Muslims.) It is only through prayer and through Jesus Christ that they call all make it to heaven, despite their sins.
Because Jesus is love, even the prodigal son can be saved. There is hope for you yet.
You know what I've figured out you just cut and paste other people's ideas. You have no understanding of your own. You don't even understand the sermons you paste.
I know something you don't know I am ambidextrous!

I didn't say that. Is that what your religion teaches? twist other people's words. That sounds like the very definition of the false prophet.
I said His name was immaterial. In the Bible He says, "I am, who am." I notice you did not use that as one of your names. Instead, you chose the most generic name you could "God".
The true God has many biblical names. I myself refer to Him mostly as El Shaddai
Notice that is the opposite of what Jesus preaches. He sat down with the sinners and spoke to them. The father ran out and welcomed the prodigal son. Which is what the Pope is doing.
The prodigal son seems to be a wayward believer. I mean he knows who God is and was in fellowship with him, but went his own way.
Jesus called sinners to repentence. The Pope has proclaimed that Allah and the true God are the same. Where did Paul or Peter ever equate Zeus with God?
Where did Jesus equate Zeus with God also?
And the Pope did mention that an athiest could go to Heaven. That is unscriptural. Or that all paths lead to Heaven?
Yet no one can come to the Father "except by me" according to Jesus.
You can't see at all you are blind. You distort and twist the Gospel to your own version. Get away from me, you Satan.

Those who hear the Gospel and reject it are not saved. They are still under God's wrath. If an athiest heard the Gospel his good deeds will not get him to Heaven.
If one of another faith heard the Gospel and rejected itno matter how good his works are he is still under God's wrath.
Again that is one of the central message of the Gospel.
Yes, that's the Catholic view you should try to understand it. Few souls go directly to heaven. Athiests and muslims who have heard the Message and rejected it will not end up in Heaven nor will they rise at the End of this Age.
                                  That is 100% certain.
Well it was nice talking to you. And I would advise keep an eye out for this Pope. He is an interesting figure no matter how much you and I differ in our understanding of him.
                                  God bless.

Then why do you reject the Gospels? The ones where Jesus sits down to dine with sinners. Why do you reject the idea of "Judge not, lest ye be judged"?
Where did Jesus equate Zeus with God also?
Don't be absurd. Zeus is the leader of a pantheon of gods. He is not the one God regardless of which name you give him.

Allah is not the true God either. Look up Allah's history on Wikipedia please. He was a pagan deity.

I don't reject that Jesus presents Himself to sinners. But He does call them to repentance. I don't think he planned to ever turn any sinner to Allah.
And if anyone rejects the Gospel Message then God's wrath remains on that person. Gospel of John remember?

You mean this reference in Wikipedia?
Allah (English pronunciation: /l/ or /l/; Arabic: Allh, IPA: [allh] ( listen)) is the Arabic name for God (al ilh, iliterally "the God"). The word has cognates in other Semitic languages, including Alah in Aramaic, l in Canaanite and Elohim in Hebrew.
It is used mainly by Muslims to refer to God in Islam, but it has also been used by Arab Christians since pre-Islamic times.
It other words, it means "God". To me that is making a big deal of nothing. Some people refer to Zeus as the "god of thunder", Mars is "the god of war" neither of those phrases change the meaning of "God" as the one, true God.
It matters what they believe. There are other issues with Islam which are important. I trust the Pope is discussing these with them.
