It was a BIG DEAL because he was murdered for free speech and having an open dialog, and he was very moderate in his beliefs. He was reaching college students for Maga and Christ Jesus. He wasn't even like a Nick Fuentes- but they called him a "Nazi" all the time and it set off some crazy liberal to shoot him. If we can't have civil discourse anymore, we are lost as a nation. He was killed also for his faith, it's quite obvious.

Christian beliefs don’t promote hate and divisiveness.
Christian beliefs are about inclusion, acceptance and kindness.
Kirk’s kind of perverted ‘Christian’ beliefs had none of the Christian values or attributes.
He was a bigoted extremist white supremacist racist misogynist, unkind, unloving, divisive person. Nothing Christian about him. He was a false Christian.

If he were a Muslim promoting Islam pushing gays off rooftops you'd be saying he was one of the peaceful ones.
