I’m not so sure that he knows what he likes and he changes his mind daily it seems…so perhaps he will meet up with me next week after all.
Is he familiar with that massive bric a brac jumble type shop right at the edge of the Northern Quarter near Piccadilly Gardens?

You’re right. I mean we might have done and we might not have done. Time is forever in flux and our meeting in person is not a fixed point.
Anyway this is the shop in question. It’s really quite a wonderful Aladdin’s Cave of a shop and you will be surprised what you might find in there such as somebodies old collection of Whizzer and Chips comics for example.

Well you would be correct. There is an ‘adult’ section in the back of the shop.
I personally have never ventured into that bit but myself and a friend suspect that’s how the shop makes a lot of its money. We can’t imagine it comes from the old comics, Look-In magazines and Blue Peter annuals.

I figured the rent and wages wouldn't be paid with tat (Although I love tat!).

Definitely not no. It is in a prime location and there is lots of space for a tat shop. We didn’t think that Rob’s old collection of A Team stuff would pay the rent, for example.
