I'm going through her discography now but it's hard to get through
even her early stuff sounds like generic AI slop. way too much autotune abuse too and shallow slut-pop themes. almost every song seems to follow the same theme of "if you want ot have sex with me you need to pay me a lot of money"
the best song I've heard so far is the one with Japanese House, but the song is immediately ruined as soon as Charli appears on the track with her stupid rapping **** she does

turns out there isn't. it's all garbage.

Indeed. BOOMSHIT, on the other hand… not so much.
However, not all of Charli XCX's music is ironic anyways. In fact, her best songs are just good, old-fashioned pop done extremely well, with this timeless banger being the best example by far: -

I've been a big Charli XCX fan ever since her first album, but I didn't really get the massive praise heaped on
Brat
. None of the songs stood out as particularly memorable or interesting. I much prefer her older songs like "Boom Clap" and "You're the One". -

I frigging love Brat. It was kind of a re igniting of 2000s club culture but with a more sophisticated edge.
She's moving on from this now. Looking forward to her future projects.
