I think this is going to be a long, very long and very sad trial.

I type too slow and there is a lot to the case, but in short: Karen Reed was the lady in Boston who The Commonwealth alleged struck her police officer boyfriend with her vehicle after an argument and left him to die on a lawn in a blizzard. Personally, I did think she did it, but maybe there was reasonable doubt. The jury hung the first go around, and she walked the second time. She had quite a fan following, and I think Jackson got the right jury.
(Whitey Bulger's ex-lawyer, Hank Brennan I think, was the prosecutor in the second trial.)
Was Durst the guy who was suspected of killing his girlfriend up in one of the New England states, but they never could find her body? And for some reason he went on the run and there was another murder of another woman involved, and the guy he killed and dismembered in Texas (Houston?) was his house mate? He threw the body parts in the bay? Or am I thinking of a different case? -

Okay, I got interested in that one after I saw the movie (I think starring Ryan Gosling?).
I thought it was a pretty good flick.
Then I started looking for documentaries about him.
Yeah, that was someone I thought should have been at least locked up for life. At least. -

I think that was a murder of a lady he committed in California before he went to Houston?
That guy didn't seem to have any issues with killing people.
Did he die in prison of Covid?
I have watched so much true crime, they start to meld together after a while.
I am pretty sure that Phil Spector died of Covid in prison. -
