Ever See a Movie on LSD?

The first time I saw Grease was at a theater when it first came out.
I dropped some acid. I went with a few friends.
While it's a cute movie, that first time was so much better and far more interesting.
One's mind tends to go off on different tangents.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

Shit tons of times mort… like multi dozens
Some of my favs…
Anything Lynch or Kubrick. The odd thing is that without strong hallucinogens…I really don't care for either film makers offerings.
Twelve Monkeys…first time seeing it was on four hits of black pyramid gels…it peeled my skull open
Gone with the wind…comedy masterpiece
The wizard of Oz… started watching it in the nude with some folks…ended up banging this chick right around meeting the Tim man… great time
Gummo…
Beetlejuice… cinema magic! (There needs to be a rabbit in a top hat emoji
The original starwars trilogy
Grind house and pulp fiction… Quinton knows how to make flicks for dosing

I’ve seen too many on LSD to remember.
Some of them were
No Country for Old Men
The Thin Red Line
Several Disney movies
2001
Mandy
Tideland
So many more..
You’ll never get as invested in a movie as you do when watching it on acid.
Even more so if you wait until the acid wears off a bit and then smoke some weed (you have to avoid smoking any earlier in the day though). -

I've tried, but I had no interest in watching movies, even 12 hours after my trip. I tried this with a few Bergman movies. I remember the night well…
I couldn't even watch stand-up! But I would spend about 15 hours in a chat room, especially if the guy I riff with was in the room. I notice the joy of LSD depended on if he was around, because the **** we do was like LSD even being sober. Free associating, stream of consciousness, as well as taking what was being said live, and quickly (almost like competition) assemble that into a movie quote, music artist/song, lyrics..
One that just struck me was when the topic was over the wall. I said, "All in all he's just another prick with no wall" quoting my favorite band, Pink Floyd.
Someone was arguing about their neighbor and COVID, and he said, "Thou shall not COVID thy neighbor's goods"
During the George Floyd arguments (pro and con, since the room is made up of mostly 2-party bullshit), I had posted
Pink Floyd - Breathe (well, actually Floyd didn't breathe much, but his face might have turned Pink)
"You ain't black…. unless Kamala Harris throws you in prison"
It's been a month since I've tripped. I miss it, but being up 24 hours was a bit much for the not so great stuff I was getting at that time. But I got one geltab last June, and it was the best, wonderful. My brain seems to work better when it came to chat… Of course, I've ALWAYS listened to music, but before last summer, I was always out in nature, and it was nice to change it up.
I really hope I can trip (possibly for the first time) in winter… It's a change in scenery, I have central heat (can't stand the loud noise of the window AC), because 2 feet of snow looks nice, but mostly because the neighborhood was silent… No sound of neighbors or their barking dogs.

I misunderstood your OP to mean movies about LSD, in which case I was reminded of a couple of films I've seen on TCM that dealt with LSD. One of them was
The Big Cube
(1969), starring none other than Lana Turner; the other was
The Trip
(1967), starring Peter Fonda and Bruce Dern. Both are (obviously) dated and at times a little corny, but are still pretty interesting viewing even today, half a century later. -

I still haven't seen "The Trip".. I should check to see if I have Nicholson on automatic DVR. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks. Many times YouTube has the rare movies, but I check the usual suspects.
Just wish Bruce Dern wasn't in it. He always seems deranged. He was deranged before "Coming Home"
