What is the stuff called that simulates soil/dirt? I think I heard that it is something used to clean engine oil off of garage floors, but I'm probably mistaken.

Purpose? If you are shooting a project and need some shmutz on an actors face, chocolate cake mix powder is an old TV/Movie trick.
