Yeah but I don't believe that every one is damned to hell for enternity. If Feorgie got sucked into hell for the hit and run, even though that she really isn't a bad person and she feels remorse, if she is still taken to hell, that means no one is safe and everyone is going to hell when they die. That would be a really beep way to end the show.

they don't know that cade and hell exists though. damon does and that is why he doesn't care anymore. he can't be saved. as for vampires that know it exists and still remain good, it's like someone know the end of the world is coming and still acting civilized or whatever. like people from the purge movies that still don't want to purge, even though they know it is legal.
i'm glad because this means caroline is going to hell. but they will probably stop cade and destroy hell before this show is done.

i don't even remember anymore because i started to dislike her long ago.
OH! it was when she turned off her humanity. yep that was it. she was so evil. even enzo wasn't evil like that and he had his humanity turned off as well.

It's not hell as in a 'you deserve it' The various incarnations of hell in fiction and mythology are always about the creator's hangups. Arcadius has been making people suffer for over two thousand years based on his own vengeance, not because Georgie or Vicki deserved hell.
In the books, Elena and Damon rescued Stefan from the dark dimension. I don't think they'll go for an 'everybody's screwed' ending.
