I find Moore's and Connery's last Bond movies to be similar in the sense that they both have lackluster stories, but they both have quite stronger villains, than most of the John Glen era.
AVTAK has better action scenes technically, but NSNA does address Bond's age and play it more to the strengths in comparison. But what do you think? -

β 5 years ago(December 06, 2020 12:44 PM)Quantum is the worst of the Craig films but we should acknowledge it was made during the writerβs strike. For a film that was subject to that many production and writing challenges, where Craig himself had to help finish the story , it was decent. It suffered from a weak villain but was very well shot and built on the Casino Royale events well.

Quantum is the second worst Bond film. Writers strike means nothing. SPECTRE is hands down the worst. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot and not a true Bond fan.

β 5 years ago(January 09, 2021 07:06 PM)Meh. Specter was a mission impossible film disguised as a bond film. I would say generic but not terrible. Quantum was far more boring in some parts but the 1st 1/4th of if was pretty gripping. The villain and plot progression just sucked toward the end.
