She was considered to be the new Angel after Kate Jackson left. She's certainly got the looks down. She might have been a bit too exotic next to the other Angels. The producers said she would be too tall, standing next to shorty Cheryl Ladd.

Interesting I didn't know that.
Why pander to Ladd though, she was my least favorite at any rate? I could see Bach as an ideal replacement for Jackson and she had plenty of charisma. If Farrah hadn't left and Jackson still did, I can see Fawcett, Smith and Bach as a ideal trio of Angels.
Found this Ladd quote:
[In 2000, recalling her first year on
Charlie's Angels
(1976)] I wasn't overly, warmly received, I wouldn't say that. There was a really interesting dynamic that had occurred between Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith that to this day I really don't know all the details of. There was a camaraderie, and they had success. I think when Farrah left, there was some awfully hurt feelings from Kate and Jaclyn.
Norman! What did you put in my tea?

Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
