Verily I say unto theeno parody post here, JASON BOURNE is far better than SPECTRE and benefits from being at least 30 minutes shorter in running time.

30 minutes shorter, Flappy? Just like QofS less is better.

I would stand in line for this.
I see what you did there.
But from what I've heard the editing is even worse than in the previous films so I have no idea how you were able to see every move and countermove on the screen. ULTIMATUM was the worst editing I've ever seen in any film. And this is supposed to be even worse than that. Again, from what I've read and heard. That's why I completely gave the film a pass.

Verily I say unto theethen you heard wrong, I hated the editing of the previous Bourne films but it seems that Paul Greengrass has learned a lesson from watching QoS and saw for himself what one of his acolytes did when copying his style and made it a thousand times more incompetent than he could have dreamed of. I had no problems following the plentiful action in JASON BOURNE, no problems at all. BTW, don't try and tell me that the editing in ULTIMATUM is the worst you have seen in any film because you have also seen QoS which beyond all doubt stands as a testament for all time of the most abysmal and incomprehensible editing that could ever be imagined. Forster made an action film with no action and Greengrass can no longer be accused of that.

I'm not trying. I did, and I'm telling it to you again. ULTIMATUM editing is the worst.
I'll be checking out BOURNE LEGACY soon which is bound to be an improvement over ULTIMATUM. But not better than QOS I'm sure, editing aside.

Verily I say unto theeI don't recall the editing to be too bad in LEGACY but it certainly isn't much of a movie and as slow as hell but like all other movies ever made SUBSTANTIALLY better than the insipid and grotesquely edited QOS nonsense.

                  The Bourne Ultimatum
does not have clear editing; it's one of the worst examples of this style. So bad, in fact, it clearly scrambled your brain. I might abide if you wanted to throw
                  both
QOS and TBU under the shaky bus, but you have no credibility on the subject to defend either.

I have to say,I was a little disappointed.
I thought the pace was a little slower than I am used to for a Bourne film.
The car chase is spectacular though, and the fist fight that follows it.

Verily I say unto theethe film's pace seemed fine to me and I wasn't bored at all and I was more than pleasantly surprised by it.

It'd have been better if it wasn't literally the exact same movie as the other Bourne flicks, even the action set pieces are carbon copies.

Kudos too to director Paul Greengrass for eschewing the horrible frenetic editing that so marred his earlier work and allowing us to see every punch land and to follow the vehicular destruction with ease.
                          You are wrong.

's editing/cam is clearly an homage to

As others have said, I'm surprised you like this given how shaky the camera is. I don't see how it's all that different from QoS in that regard.
The big fight with Vincent Cassel was good, but I thought the vehicle chase scenes were nondescript. You see stuff like those in a million movies.

Verily I say unto theethe editing is VASTLY superior to the urine impoverished QoS, the reason is simpleGreengrass is becoming an experienced director of action movies and would appear now to have eventually discovered how to edit such movies correctly. Forster on the other hand is not and never will be.
