Bringing back Tracy would be a great idea for the reboot

Like I said when someone mentioned killing Madeline in another recent thread, giving Craig two tragic love stories just drifts into melodrama.
OHMSS is too perfect for me to most likely view a remake attempt as worthwhile anyway. -

You need three films for that, though.
Save it to establish a new actor in the Bond role. Doesn't even have to be the next Bond actor, use it when the franchise needs a shot in the arm.

They could establish Madeline being a long-lost half-sister to Tracy, with her mother being Marc-Ange Draco's first wife before marrying Mr. White. Or something like that to follow up the great Bloberhauser scheme.

Stop it with this "bring back." nonsense. They already brought back Blofeld and look how that turned out. Let's have some originality for a change. Stop bringing people back. About the only thing that needs a comeback is a pigeon or two. But that's it!
Here's an idea! In the next film Bond is sent on a mission. A mission that we've never seen before with characters we've never seen before. Gee, what a novel idea!? Isn't this what script writers are paid for? To come up with story ideas, not to rehash stuff that's been done before?
Connery, Moore, and Brosnan! Accept NO substitutes! -

The screenwriters should go on week of meditation or something so they learn how to wash out all "lets copy" instincts and learn to trust their brains when original ideas come. But maybe they dont have it
Maybe some of us should help them. Lets write a letter -

I want them to kill Swann in the PTS, introduce and kill Tracy in the first act, kill Quarrel and Quarrel jr. in the second, and blow up the DB5 again in the third. Then Bond must go on the roaring rampage of revenge that we all need to see in a post credits scene. And it will include killing Logan for melodramatic interfamilial storytelling.
Then we will all at last be happy.
Now, this is a signature gun, and that is an optical palm rea

Vesper was the Tracy of the Craig films. I'm not sure if I'd want to see another story focusing on some great love that Craig's Bond immediately loses.
I've been listening to the Toby Stephens Bond radio dramas, and they are pretty good. I almost wish they were movies, based closer on the books. I'm not exactly for remakes, but if they explore these characters I'd rather see them adapted again and in order of the books published. And frankly a new actor.
