I guess mobiles went out of fashion for a while there in 2001. That and jetpacks, jets, helicopters, swimming, talking and getting fat.
Still a good game but VC really upped the level and SA topped it all off with a cherry.
4 + 5 were good but the character of SA was perfect for me

I managed to play all the way through from GTA 1,2 and the weird Manchester, London and a couple of other maps before III came out.
Every time a new game came out from them I was blown away for what it could do at the time of release.
IV is beautiful but a bit dry in comedy across the 3 different games set in Liberty City (And I HATE bowling!), it would have been nice to have play with that map more.
China Town is a DS game I played too, a bit more like the first 2 games but still fun.
I tried a couple of GTA things on the mobile Playstation unit (Vivo or similar) but sisn't like it. Reminded me of the Atari Lynx but not as exciting
But sure, GTA 6 definitely isn't coming and it's not going to have any Red Dead Redemption easter eggs in it
