That makes sense . Because there has been rumors that Stefan will die before the season finale,and rumors that we will see Enzo again. So consider that Stefan bleeds out all the cure (he was already hurt) if he gets hurt again all the cure will be gone from his body then he should start to age, and die. So leaving the door open will allow him to return along with Elena.

that scene with bonnie is also from 816, i think.
but the op theory sound interesting.
Are you sure he's alive? If he's alive then Damon must had did something to get him out of his deal with Cade.

he runs in the burning clock tower after kissing Caroline. Damon and someone else is trapped in the clock tower. They burned the clock tower in 816, right?

Elena, or some people speculate Katherine falls/ or jumps from the tower . Some extra was describing what they saw while filming.They know Elena/Katherine is lying on the ground.

Yep I heard Stefan crying by Katherine's body.
Initially it was said that it was Elena by someone who was watching the shooting but then they said no it was Katherine.
I am not sure that they will keep Katherine alive after bringing her back in the finale esp if she is the final villain so yeah I can see her dying once again. How many that will be now ? Two ?
