Anything to do with home invasions disturbs me. What makes it scary is that it can actually happen, so here are a few of the films I find genuinely scary…
The Desperate Hours, 1955
In Cold Blood, 1967
Wait Until Dark, 1967
Funny Games, 1997 or 2007 for the English version.
To me, most horror movies to do with the supernatural are fun to watch.
I will admit that this scene from The Haunting still gives me the creeps though…

I was thinking of poor 8 month old Sharon Tate laying in bed chatting with Jay Sebring. Imagine the horror those poor people experienced before their deaths.
