I always recommend that one
thereβs one scene in that movie that particularly ****s me up bc it perfectly captures a sensation i get when falling asleep and it really got me in the theatre lol
also the director is another ari aster type guy to keep an eye out for. his previous movie The Ritual is fantastic also -

, definitely. that movie was hands down the scariest and most disquieting horror movie i have ever seen. i've watched this in broad daylight and it had scenes that had me jump onto my couch standing up, ready to rush out of the room when **** was starting to go down, but i couldn't leave when it was going down bc i wanted to watch the movie and so i kept watching it, remaining in standing up position on my couch for the most part. ugh great horror movie but ****, it is truly horrifying stuff (found footage horror)

right? altho i don't think i will ever be able to rewatch it⦠the movie haunted me for a while after that, too. not badly, but i couldn't stop thinking about it. it's also a very sad film, actually. the first video i posted is about that. it's one of my fav horror movies, definitely, but one i don't see myself returning to ever again.
