Starting with Matt, almost ruined the episode for me.
Well, JP called it a shame spiral for Stefan, and that's what we got. Plus getting arrested and stabbed, and being mean to Caroline, who again was there for everybody. No wonder TV Guide elected her as best character ahead of Damon or Elena.
Ugh Alaric is back, but good to see Abby again, Joseph has great taste lol.
Kai's return was anticlimactic.
So I guess now we are supposed to ship Matt and Bonnie?
I really don't hope minor character Dorian is the one to kill Stefan!

It annoys me when the characters basically throw a hissy fit when Damon wants to save his brother's life or vice versa & it costs them a journal or something similar. They've had that thing for a while & you mean to tell me they didn't make a copy of it? I doubt a real researcher would be handling that thing, carrying it around, etc. They'd be looking over a copy of it so they didn't damage the original. Most of the issues can be solved by something so simple.

This was my favorite episode of 8. I thought Kat did a great job, and I loved seeing Abby back. This show wasted that character and Persia White is great. It was one of the most powerful moments of the entire show for me.
I am glad that the police talked to Stefan. I mean, he has got to be the most prolific killer in history rivaling Genghis Khan. It put a human face on the damage these vampires have done to humans over the years.
I agree, Enzo sucks and I am glad he is dead. He has done a lot of bad things to the group, it was sort of ridiculous that they accepted him. I am glad it was STefan who killed him, although dont like that it hurt Bonnie
Steroline is done. You are a beautiful, smart, driven woman, Caroline you can do better than Stefan.
I loved the Matt and Bonnie scenes. Absolutely loved.
I think it was Lexi who kidnapped STefan.
And then.KAI PARKER! YES!!! We have been waiting for this moment! I think he is ultimately going to redeem himself. So so glad the show brought him back.
